Better Cotton Initiative (BCI)

A program to educate farmers on the best cotton cultivation practices and water management techniques, in association with BCI & IDH.

Introduction

In collaboration with Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) and The Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH), we took the initiative to educate farmers on the best cotton cultivation practices and water management techniques.

BCI connects people and organizations across the cotton sector, from field to store. It promotes tangible improvements made for the environment, farming communities, and the economies of cotton-producing areas.

Impact

Better Cotton Initiative has seen farmers adopt improved cultivation practices for cotton production, helping them achieve output with methods that balance sustainability and productivity. We will continue to increase our reach amongst cotton farmers for creating awareness about best crop cultivation practices.
